Owned by Debbie Cox, Debbie took on Fairview Farm in 1989 when she moved from her already well established and popular riding school at Middlebeck to set up and develop what is now an establishment to be proud of.
18 licensed horses and ponies ranging from 11hh through to 16.3hh all schooled to a high standard, we are able to provide quality riding tuition to novice, intermediate and advanced levels from 4 years of age upwards.
The yard is split into three sections, the riding school is housed in a new purpose built horseshoe shaped courtyard which has 20 brick build stables including tack room, feed room, wash box and toilet facilities. Lessons take place in one of our three purpose built sand schools, there are two 40 x 40 meter and a 20 x 40 meter school. Two of the schools are floodlit.
The Livery section is housed in an American barn and has 16 stables with a further 10 traditional stables located adjacent to the American barn providing a total of 26 livery places.
The third section, the Main Barn the only original building left on the site, over the years extensive renovation has been carried out to improve the facilitates. The main barn is located next to the main house and is where our competition horses are housed. At Fairview Farm we have a history of involvement in showjumping, that interest is as strong today as it ever was. We have horses that are competed by some of the nations most prominent and successful international showjumpers.
Fairview Farm is privileged to have access to a range of instructors. Our in house instructors include:
